Atlantic City Country Club

Atlantic City Country Club Founded in 1897, the Atlantic City Country Club is a public course located approximately five miles east of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The prestigious course carries the distinction of “Birthplace of the Birdie” after the term was coined there in 1903. The course has been home to six USGA Major Championships and was a favorite of Arnold Palmer’s who played often between 1951 an 1952 while enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard.

The course is situated in a coastal setting and offers skyline views of Atlantic City. Banquet and dining facilities are available. Atlantic City Country Club is owned by Harrah’s Entertainment.
