Atlantic City Country Club

Founded in 1897, the Atlantic City Country Club is a public course located approximately five miles east of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The prestigious course carries the distinction of “Birthplace of the Birdie” after the term was coined there in 1903. The course has been home to six USGA Major Championships and was a favorite of Arnold Palmer’s who played often between 1951 an 1952 while enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Located six miles north of Atlantic City, New Jersey, Galloway National Golf Club is a private course situated on the banks of Reeds Bay. Developed in 1994, Galloway has earned a reputation as one of the finest courses on the east coast of the Unites States. Renowned architect Tom Fazio called it “one of my best ever”. Golf digest recently named Galloway “One of America’s best private golf clubs”.

The ultra-private golf club was created by Vernon Hill, CEO of Commerce Bank, after he endured a five hours of slowplay on a nearby public course in the Atlantic City area. Guests must be accompanied by a member when playing at Galloway; a must-play opportunity for serious golfers.

Located approximately 11 miles southwest of Atlantic City, the Greate Bay Country Club is a public course in Somers Point, New Jersey. Designed by architect Willie Park, Jr, Greate Bay has developed a reputation for well-maintained fairways and greens, and customer service excellence.

Greate Bay’s facilities include an expansive practice area with landscaped driving range and several putting and chipping greens, a full-service pro shop with club-fitting services, choice of two dining establishments, and a large fitness center.
